Hours
In the state of Hawaii, pharmacy technicians are not required to complete continuing education (CE) hours. There is also no registration or certification for Pharmacy Technicians in Hawaii. Aspiring pharmacy technician candidates should be at least 18 years old and work under the supervision of a licensed and qualified pharmacist. While PTCB certification is not mandatory, obtaining it can enhance job prospects and salary potential.
The Hawaii Board does not issue certifications for pharmacy technicians: https://cca.hawaii.gov/pvl/boards/pharmacy/
