Mental Health Awareness in the Pharmacy Setting
The role and responsibilities of pharmacists and staff have been steadily expanding. With this greater role and responsibilities, stress, burnout, anxiety, and other issues have grown in significance. These negative mental conditions and feelings can impact the health of the pharmacy technician and the care patients receive. In order to combat stress, burnout, and anxiety, pharmacists and staff need to know the risk factors for them and improve their mental health through awareness and reasonable interventions, especially self-care.
