Course Overview
Welcome to Tick Island, a one-of-a-kind, gamified CE fictional adventure for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Guided by TickBot, you and Nikki, a pharmacy worker, will explore diverse habitats, face time-sensitive medical emergencies, and battle Alphie-the Alpha Tick-while learning essential knowledge about ticks and tick-borne diseases. Along the way, you will sharpen your clinical skills by identifying signs and symptoms, counseling patients on prevention and treatment, managing infection risks, and assisting in patient care. This interactive format transforms continuing education into an engaging experience you will not forget.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

- Review the symptoms and signs of tick-borne disease infections
- Identify tick-borne infection treatment based on CDC guidelines
- Recall counseling points for patients and advice for prescribers

From August 27, 2025 through August 27, 2028, participants must:
- Read the "learning objectives" and "author and planning team disclosures"
- Study the section entitled "educational activity"
- Complete the Course Test and Evaluation form. The Course Test will be graded automatically. Following successful completion of the Course Test with a score of 70% or higher, a statement of participation will be made available immediately. (No partial credit will be given.)
Credit for this course will be automatically uploaded to CPE Monitor®.
