Course Summary

Burn injuries present a unique and complex challenge for healthcare professionals, requiring prompt and effective treatment to prevent complications and promote healing. While minor burns can often be managed on an outpatient basis, severe burns require intensive treatment and have the potential to create long-lasting impacts on patients. This continuing education activity will equip healthcare providers with a comprehensive understanding of burn classification, treatment strategies, and the roles of the multidisciplinary care team in managing these injuries.
