Course Overview
Breast cancer remains one of the most prevalent cancers affecting women worldwide, necessitating a thorough understanding of its epidemiology, risk factors, and management strategies. Healthcare professionals must have essential knowledge of breast cancer care, including the latest treatment strategies and the importance of interdisciplinary management. Within this activity, learners will gain insight into key epidemiological data and risk factors associated with breast cancer, enabling them to identify high-risk individuals and implement preventive measures effectively. The presentation will also cover the various screening and diagnostic tools available for early detection and accurate breast cancer diagnosis. Evidence-based treatment strategies will also be described, as will the roles of interdisciplinary team members.
