Questions About Continuing Education for Pharmacy Technicians
Are the Michigan Board of Pharmacy’s CE requirements the same as the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s (PTCB) Requirements?
The Michigan Board of Pharmacy’s CE requirements are separate from any PTCB requirements. To keep your PTCB pharmacy technician certification, check their requirements.
Are there recommended CE Courses for Connecticut Pharmacy Technicians that meet PTCB CE requirements?
Patient Safety courses like Medication Errors are great for Michigan Pharmacy Technicians because they can help them avoid pervasive issues in the Pharmacy field. Pharmacy law is another popular topic that is often a required CE course topic in other states and required by the PTCB. We also offer courses that cover modern issues in the Pharmacology field, like opioid misuse, substance awareness, and AI in healthcare. If you are looking for a specialization, we also have a Compounding Certificate Course.
