Required CE Courses for Hawaii Pharmacists
If immunizing a patient between 14-17 years of age - Every other biennium (once every 3 years), you must take and submit proof of completion to the Board, an ACPE immunization training course that is at least 1 hour. If pharmacists are prescribing or dispensing contraceptives, an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education program approved by the board must be completed during every other biennial renewal period. From the Board: "...a licensee who has graduated from an American College of Pharmaceutical Education nka Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (āACPEā) accredited pharmacy school within one year of the licenseeās first license renewal period, shall not be subject to the CE requirement for the first license renewal."
